We are through': Private citizen fed up with the media sends a big message

Kyle Courtney was fed up with ABC, the only channel he watched as a child. He took issue with their coverage of the man he voted for in 2016 and the seemingly endless coverage of the mere implication that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the election. So he ordered a billboard to tell them.

He paid for two months of the billboard message, which read, “ABC News: I grew up with you. We are through. The Russians didn’t elect Donald Trump. I did.” The Boerne, Texas, resident told Mike Opelka on today’s “Pure Opelka” that he has received 99 percent positive feedback.

He also reported that the folks at his auto shop gave him a round of applause. Even notoriously left-leaning Huffington Post gave him a slightly fair shake in their coverage, finally including his quotes when he called them out for not including his side of the story in their snarky piece on him.

Mike praised him for standing up for himself and making sure he was heard.

To see more from Mike, visit his channel onTheBlaze and listen live to “Pure Opelka” weekdays 7–10 p.m. ET & Saturdays 6–9 a.m. ET, only on TheBlaze Radio Network.
