Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck joined forces to parse President Donald Trump’s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week on Friday’s “The Glenn Beck Radio Program.”
First up was the accusation that Trump shared highly classified information with Russian officials during a meeting that was already controversial due to the decision to allow a Russian state photographer to take pictures in the Oval Office.
“That story’s bogus, and it’s pretty much gone away now,” O’Reilly dismissed the report. Trump has a “perfect right” to share information that can help other countries combat terrorism, he asserted.
“It was a big deal, but it wasn’t an impeachable offense, which the media was trying to make it,” Glenn countered his take.
O’Reilly and Glenn also looked at the accusation that Trump asked then-FBI director James Comey to drop the investigation into Gen. Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser who was fired because he had misled the administration about his ties to Russia.
