Cutting through the politicization of the OSU attack

Lawrence Jones sits down with Mateen Aini to push past the immediate politicization of the recent attack on the campus of The Ohio State University. Politicians from across the political spectrum have attempted to use this terrifying incident to advance a variety of agendas, from immigration to gun control to police militarization. However, Mateen and Lawrence point out that this particular conversation begins and ends with home-grown terrorism.

"This isn't a gun discussion, right?" Mateen asks. "This is more of a — we've got to look inward. Because this isn't an immigration issue either, per se. This is a home-grown terror attack."
