Some 'girl in Iowa': MSNBC guest slams Fox News for 'talking about' Mollie Tibbetts' murder
August 22, 2018
Christina Greer, a Fordham University professor and frequent guest on MSNBC, slammed Fox News Tuesday on MSNBC’s "The Beat" for "talking about, you know, a girl in Iowa" instead of sticking exclusively to the Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort trials. Watch the MSNBC segment below.
The "girl in Iowa" that Greer referred to was Mollie Tibbetts, the 20-year-old University of Iowa student who had been missing for more than a month when her body was discovered in a cornfield Tuesday. Illegal immigrant Cristhian Bahena Rivera has been charged with first-degree murder in her death.

On "The Glenn Beck Radio Show" Wednesday, Glenn reacted to Greer's comment, which appallingly trivialized the death of a young American woman at the hands of an illegal immigrant.
He also noted that the mainstream media is notoriously reluctant to highlight anything that goes against their liberal views on immigration.
