Gunpowder, treason … and a Hollywood plot?

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of dozens of incidents of sexual harassment and assault reportedly kept undercover during his years in Hollywood, was burned in effigy over the weekend in Kent, England.

In Britain, people have celebrated Guy Fawkes Day to “remember, remember the fifth of November” since a foiled attempt to assassinate King James I in the early 17^th century. Effigies of Fawkes and other figures are burned as part of the festivities.
