Anniversary of Sandy Hook massacre sparks calls for gun control

It’s been five years since deranged gunman Adam Lanza murdered 20 first-graders and six faculty at Sandy Hook Elementary School with a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle.

Remembering the nightmarish massacre on its anniversary today, various political activists, celebrities, and media figures are demanding gun control laws on social media.

Five years ago today, 20 babies & 6 adults were massacred in the #SandyHook shooting.

Congress sat by then & it is actively participating in the promotion of gun violence now.

No one calling for gun control has, as yet, suggested what new law would prevent mass shootings or why law-abiding gun owners should have their fundamental right to own firearms infringed.
