Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin opened the first hour of his radio show Tuesday night discussing the Senate Intelligence hearing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on alleged Russian efforts to interfere in the election.
"What is with these buffoonish senators?" Levin asked, defending Sessions from Democrat reprimands.
Levin reminded the audience that all of the alleged nefarious activity concerning the Russians happened on Obama’s watch.
He asked: "When will the Republicans say, 'All this Russia interference in our elections — where were the Democrats? Where was Obama? Where was Lynch? Where was Holder? Where was Kerry? Where was Hillary?'"
Levin said “the real star” of the hearing was Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., and his defense against the attacks aimed at Sessions and the Trump administration.
Rebutting allegations of wrongdoing by Sessions, Levin reminded everyone that it was former President Barack Obama who met with Russian leadership and famously noted the increased "flexibility” he would have after the upcoming election.
The Democrats on the committee are on a "Soviet-style hunt," Levin said.
