Analysis: Kelli Ward Rebukes 'ChemTrail Kelli' Ads, Skewers McCain at Trump Rally

After presumptive republican nominee Donald Trump left the stage Saturday at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Kelli Ward spoke with this Blaze contributor via Facebook live stream.

In a quick, three-minute interview, Ward crammed in several issues, including her support of Trump, her response to recent ads referring to her as "ChemTrail Kelli," and her recent and inflamatory assertion that Senator McCain "is directly responsible for the rise of ISIS."

"I want to start winning," Ward said, unabashed and ardent in her support of a Trump presidency. "I want America to start winning. I want America to be great again; and I'm looking forward to having the strongest military, the strongest border, the strongest immigration policy, the strongest economy we have ever seen. And I think that's going to happen by having an amazing president. President Trump and conservative supporters in the Senate and House, especially in the Senate like Dr. Kelli Ward."

A recent poll by Public Policy Polling indicates that Ward lags 13 points behind long-time incumbent McCain.

In a contentious presidential election year, the down ticket clearly bears serious scrutiny and the high stakes senatorial campaign in Arizona will surely be one to watch.
