Attorney General William Barr has directed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct an investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation and to determine whether intelligence collection regarding the Trump campaign was "lawful and appropriate."
On Tuesday's episode of "The White House Brief," host Jon Miller discussed the details of Barr's new investigation. He also noted how the leftist media have suddenly and conveniently lost interest in reporting on the Russia collusion investigation.
"You know, if this were any other investigation, it would be around-the-clock [reporting.] I mean, this is Russia-gate. It's their favorite story to cover," Jon said. "And don't they have a duty to cover it ever so vigorously? That's what they've been telling us, that it's their journalistic obligation. That is unless it doesn't make the president out to look like an evil lunatic."
