As the dust settles and more details emerge about Rep. Anthony Weiner's (D-NY) virtual affairs, some information about the way in which the embattled lawmaker prepared for yesterday's public announcement has been released.
Prior to the now infamous press conference, Weiner held a call with current and former aids to admit his guilt and to ask for their help in crafting a public statement. FOX News reports that his team played a vital role in drafting the final speech he delivered yesterday afternoon.
Interestingly, the congressman decided that he did not want to put his wife through the pain and embarrassment of having to stand beside him while he admitted guilt.
