"He could lie to your face..."
Those familiar with Glenn Beck will remember that Anthony Weiner once skewered Beck during a congressional hearing about one of Beck's sponsors. So it probably comes as no surprise that Beck decided to roast Weiner the day after the congressman resigned for a sexting scandal. But what may surprise you is that it wasn't just an off-the-cuff lambasting. No, Beck's seemed more like a well-thought-out monologue that he had been crafting in his mind for some time. And he delivered it in epic fashion, complete with best-of clips of Weiner.
“We’re going to have to do without, without one of the most unlikable figures in American political history. Remember, there is a guy who was capable of being completely unlikable. Even when he was arguing for healthcare, for 9/11 responders, he was unlikable,” Beck said.
He later added: “He could say anything, look and sound the exact same way. He could lie to your face, whether you were his wife, his Twitter pic receiver, his constituent, or his enemy, he could do it and believe it. It didn’t matter if he was lying about Goldline or healthcare or his own wiener shots.”
But those quotes really don't do the clip justice. See for yourself:
