A dramatic scene unfolded in Detroit, Michigan when a police officer's car crashed, then burst into flames. Luckily, two men were at the scene to pull the cop out of the wreckage and bring him to safety. According to the Detroit Free Press, the sergeant lost control of his patrol vehicle around 4:30 a.m. in I-96.
The officer was allegedly incoherent when rescued and has no recollection of what occurred during the incident. MyFoxDetroit.com has more:
"Just went up in flames. It burnt in like five minutes," said witness James Clark.
He grabbed his camera and shot some dramatic video as a Detroit Police cruiser burned...
Moments before the crash, Clark said he heard what sounded like a tire blowing out. Then he saw the police car out of control.
