The Mexican army burned the largest marijuana plantation ever found in the country Friday, covering almost 300 acres and potentially worth more than $160 million.
The crop, discovered last week about 150 miles south of Tijuana, was sheltered under a black screen-cloth commonly used by regular farmers, which helped growers avoid detection.
