Sarah Palin Gives Romney Tough Love: ‘I Do Not Respect’ His Debt Ceiling Stance

"He waited until it was a done deal."

Sarah Palin isn't happy with Mitt Romney when it comes to the debt debate, and she isn't shy about giving the Republican frontrunner some tough love.

In an interview Tuesday with Sean Hannity, Palin criticized Romney for standing on the sidelines during the debt ceiling debate, jumping in only after the dust had settled. Palin still has a lot of respect for Romney ("bless his heart), but she told Hannity "I do not have respect for what he has done through this debt increase debate....he waited until it was a done deal."

Hannity asked Palin if she was going to join the race herself, and she responded that she  was getting closer to a decision, but did not hint at the likelihood one way or another.

Still, Palin was willing to give straightforward advice for Romney and the other GOP candidates: "Get out there, tell the electorate what you really feel."

She also applauded  Michelle Bachmann for standing up for her principles in the debt debate. Watch the interview below:
