Most do not.
Do Americans really think the Tea Party is made up of "terrorist?" The answer is: no. At least according to both a Rasmussen poll and one MRCTV segment in which 15 ordinary Americans, including Democrats, were interviewed to find out what they think about the Tea Party.
Out of 1,000 likely voters surveyed in the Rasmussen poll 29 percent believe the Tea Party are "terrorists" while 71 percent believe the accusation is outrageous.
Following suit, MRCTV went to Capitol Hill to interview average Americans, including Democrats, about what they think of the Tea Party. Watch the findings here.
The poll and interviews come in the wake of Rep. Mike Doyle stating, “this small group of terrorists [Tea Party] have made it impossible to spend any money” and Vice President Joe Biden adding that "they [Tea Party] have acted like terrorists" during the debt ceiling negotiations.
