Meet 'The Hot Chicks of OWS' (you knew this would happen)

“As a mother of one of the “Hot Chicks” in this video I have to say I am very thankful that this is respectful."

Some of us around the Blaze office have joked that GBTV should hold a "Miss Occupy Wall Street Pageant" - A beauty pageant offering to pay off some of the winner's student loans. (OK... I'm the only one talking about it.) This morning we learn about a new website promoting the better looking protesters at various OWS locations.

On the page you can:

Review/vote on the "hotness" of women seen protesting in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc.

The current leader in comments/ratings is this woman.

Another young lady is earning high marks in the "Under Arrest" category.

The "eyes have it" as this masked protester seems to be elevating the temperature of several fans of the page.

The tumblr site claims that this is the video that started it all.

A mother of one of the women seen in the video posted a comment on Vimeo, where it first appeared.

“As a mother of one of the “Hot Chicks” in this video I have to say I am very thankful that this is respectful. These young women of whom I am so proud, are voicing the movement as this is their future. What is striking to me is the title and then the resulting seriousness and complexity of the protesters. Anyone watching does not doubt for a minute that these people are intelligent, thoughtful and powerful. I am hopeful this movement will spawn a few good candidates, and some standards to hold those who represent us to account. Thank you Steve, my daughter looks beautiful here and strong as she most certainly is.

The page is not just about objectifying the female protesters, it is also asking for people to donate money to support the cause.

Keep the Occupy Wall Street movement “hot” by making a donation and turning up the “heat” on corporatism.

Can a calendar of "OWS Hotties" be far behind?

Bet on it.

H/T To Chicago's Bob Madden.
