The following footage is as graphic as it is disturbing. After watching a veiled woman being disrobed and beaten by hordes of Egyptian military, Azza Hilal Suleiman, a female activist and bystander, attempted to rush to the victim's aid. For Suleiman, however, that good deed did not go unpunished as she, too, was savagely bludgeoned by the same military personnel.
CNN's Mohammed Jamjoom spoke with Suleiman in the hospital where she is currently recovering from a fractured skull, lacerations, two black eyes and multiple other serious injuries. She relayed the details of her horrific attack and expressed her belief that, in the new Egypt, "there is no justice."
