Who gave Sen. John Kerry that shiner?

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) showed up at a White House reception Monday sporting a busted up face. He broke his nose (which likely led to his two black eyes) while playing hockey, according to his spokesperson.

As fate would have it, the reception Kerry was attending was to honor the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins of the NHL.
