--Rick Santorum. Except the quote is from 2008. Romney's campaign used the old quote on Monday to paint Santorum as hypocritical in his criticism of Romney.
Santorum's quote suggests he supported Romney in 2008 out of necessity, not because he saw him as the ideal candidate. Duh.
