Some of the things Rick Santorum has said are borderline scary ("I would argue, this right to privacy...doesn't exist in my opinion in the United States Constitution"). But for all his flaws, there's his wife Karen. She's literally there for his flaws.
Like when Rick called President Barack Obama a "snob" for saying everyone should go to college.
"He should have said what (Obama) said is ‘snobbish,'" Karen told Politico. "It was a ‘snobbish comment,’ not he is ‘snobbish.’ There is a big difference. And he knows that. But everybody makes those mistakes along the journey.”
Karen said Rick should stop talking about birth control. "My advice to him was stop answering the question,” she said. “Tell ‘em, ‘I’m not going to answer this question, let me tell you what I know about national security. I know a lot about national security.'"
And she's a fan of Michelle Obama, saying she admires her for juggling between being First Lady and a mom. "And you know, she’s got great arms."
