Forget Obama -- Who wants to meet George Clooney?!

Apparently "Dinner with Barack" wasn't drawing in enough dough. The Obama campaign is now hoping to woo some donors by raffling off a chance to meet the president and actor George Clooney.

A fundraising email sent out from the Obama campaign today reads:

Friend --

George Clooney is hosting an evening with President Obama, and we're reserving two seats for grassroots supporters like you.

Yes, you heard it right, dinner with President Obama... at George Clooney's house. Pretty incredible, right?

Any grassroots donation you make today automatically enters you and a guest for the chance to join Barack Obama and George Clooney in Los Angeles:

Just three dollars, "or whatever you can" donate, will earn entry into the raffle attend the Obama-Clooney fundraiser, the campaign's website says... but, as with most promises from President Obama, there's a loophole for those rich enough smart enough to find it.

There's a bit 'o fine print when it comes to offers like this... and it goes something like this (emphasis mine):

No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Entries must be received by April 30, 2012. You may enter by contributing to Sponsor here or click here to enter without contributing. Two winners will each receive the following prize package: round-trip tickets for winner and a guest from within the fifty U.S. States, DC, or Puerto Rico to a destination to be determined by the Sponsor; hotel accommodations; and dinner with President Obama and George Clooney on a date to be determined by the Sponsor (approximate retail value of all prizes $3,200).
