Don't worry, Rosie O'Donnell has a new gig

Rosie O'Donnell's show on the Oprah Winfrey Network was canceled for terrible ratings in mid-March. And just as we were completing the sixth stage of grief (glee), she's back with a gig on NBC's "Today" that will expose her give her access to a much larger audience. She'll be a regular on the show's "Professionals" panel.

[T]he former talk show host will join the segment’s creator, former "The View" co-host Star Jones and former CNBC’s "The Big Idea" host Donny Deutsch.

The new regular "Today" segment tackles current hot topics and answers questions submitted by viewers.

Hiring O'Donnell is kind of a curious move. For the first time in 16 years "Good Morning America" passed "Today" in ratings earlier this month. In response, "Today" hires O'Donnell whose show was terminated for low ratings?
