"The 8,000-square-foot octagon apartment at CitySpire is being sold by six agents, including Robert De Niro's son, Rafael."
This Manhattan penthouse has just been put on the market for $100 million. If sold for that amount, it would be New York City’s most expensive apartment in, well, ever.
“The 8,000-square-foot octagon apartment at CitySpire is being sold by six agents, including Robert De Niro's son, Rafael,” New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television reports. “The 73rd-floor-entry apartment has a wraparound terrace and 135 windows, offering an unprecedented 360-degree residential view of the city.”
“Along with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the penthouse also includes a 1000-bottle wine room, conference room, gallery, and an elevator for the apartment's three floors,” the report adds.
The apartment, designed by Juan Pablo Molyneaux, was originally sold in 1993 for $4.5 million. It has since seen a bit of renovating from Long Island real estate mogul Steven Klar, which, we assume, has helped drive the price up just a wee bit.
