Media maven Michael Steele 'tired' of seeing politicians on TV so much

Former chairman of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele, who can be found on your TV screen more often than dust, doesn't like seeing elected officials spend so much time on TV.

“I’m tired of seeing the faces plastered on television screens and on billboards," Steele told Politico in a recent interview. "I want to see the parties in the neighborhoods and the communities of this country, having a conversation about their concerns and their issues.”

This is coming from the guy who, as chairman of the RNC for two years, could be found representing the Republican view on MSNBC nearly every day. These days... he can still be found representing the Republican view on MSNBC nearly every day.

Having Steele tell anyone not to spend so much time with the media (while giving an interview) is a little like having Vice President Joe Biden saying "watch your mouth" to someone who says "ass."
