4,514 Self-Portraits in One Vid: Artist Takes a Photo of Himself Everyday for More Than 12 Years

We've seen the video of a father who filmed a few seconds of his daughter everyday from birth through 12 years old. Here's a continuation of that concept -- at least along the aging spectrum.

The subject model is different but has similarly taken a photo of himself everyday for the last 12 and a half years. It is unclear what age Noah Kalina began photographing himself -- by the looks of the early images he appears to be in his 20s -- but he does note starting the project on Jan. 11, 2000. This latest video brings us to June 30, 2012.

He calls this project, which has resulted in 4,514 photos, "a work in progress."

Although the background behind Kalina changes, as do his clothes and hairstyle, his expression remains the same. He doesn't break a smile.
