Stuart Stevens, the guy essentially running Mitt Romney's campaign, told ABC News he wouldn't add a mention of Afghanistan to Romney's convention speech if he could redo it.
A report published last night by Politico says Stevens, who co-wrote the speech, is largely at fault for the omission of Afghanistan. The speech was highly criticized by both Republicans and Democrats for failing to acknowledge troops serving overseas.
“I just don’t think that way. I don’t think it would matter one vote," Stevens said on whether he would go back and change it if he could.
