Just when you thought Anthony Weiner couldn't get any more ridiculous, he goes and does something like this.
But while he insists his antagonizer shouldn't judge, I'm really struck by how easily he dismissed the placement of any sort of judgment on the grounds that he'd "delivered more for his community" than the other guy:
Voter: Go home, stay out of the public eye and get a job.
Weiner: By the way, I fought very hard for this community and delivered more that you will ever in your entire life.
What the heck does that even mean? So because Weiner uses taxpayer dollars in the name of public service to help those less fortunate he has a get-out-of-morality-free pass?
This is sadly a common mindset among many self-centered politicians and other public servants who seem to believe that the work they do on behalf others precludes responsibility and the essential work they need to do on themselves.
