The "Dumb and Dumber To" film team was outwitted by a pair of thieves on Saturday.
According to authorities, thieves stole a camera — worth about $500,000 — from the crew as they dined inside a Georgia IHOP over the weekend.
This image released by Universal Studios shows Jim Carrey, left, and Jeff Daniels in character as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, respectively, on the set of "Dumb and Dumber To," in Atlanta. The pair have reunited for the sequel to the 1994 film "Dumb & Dumber," which is expected in theaters in 2014. (AP)
Police say the camera weighs more than 100 pounds and is specifically used for shooting arial shots.
"It's mounted on a helicopter and used to do arial shots," detective Ernesto Ford said while speaking with WAGA-TV.
Police say a laptop and headset were also stolen.
Ford says the department is now offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspects or recovery of the equipment.
