"To Kyrstin--"

Kyrstin Lavelle, 10, got a personalized autograph not many get on Tuesday. While at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, she snagged the John Hancock of the president.

"I'm going to text my friends back home," Kyrstin, from Toronto, told the Associated Press.

But the president didn't just give her a signature when she asked for one, he also gave her an inspirational message.

"To Kyrstin-- Dream big dreams!" it said:

Kyrstin also gave the president a flower, which he said he would pass on to first lady Michelle Obama.
