VIDEO: The Hilarious Steelers Fan Who Celebrated His Team's Playoff Berth Too Soon

It's always a good idea to wait until the final whistle blows before celebrating a win, or in this case, a potential playoff berth.

A Pittsburgh Steelers fan was caught on video ecstatically dancing as the Kansas City Chiefs lined up for a potential game-winning field goal on Sunday that would have secured the Steelers a playoff berth.

"Get me on video baby!" the man says while he dances around. "I told you it can happen!"

Kicker Ryan Succop ended up missing the 41-yard field goal, allowing the San Diego Chargers to win in overtime and crush the Steelers playoff hopes.

The man's excitement immediately turned to despair and disbelief as his buddies poked fun at him for celebrating too soon. In a development that made the guy's agony even worse, the NFL later admitted that the refs missed a key penalty that would have given Succop another chance to kick the field goal, only from five yards closer.

There's always next year.
