Rafael Cruz-Endorsed Congressional Candidate Rips Obama on National Debt in 'One of the Sassiest Ads Ever

Ted Cruz calls her "utterly fearless."

Texas candidate for U.S. Congress Katrina Pierson, who is running against incumbent Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) in the 2014 mid-term elections, blasts President Barack Obama's record on the national debt in what the Independent Journal Review calls "one of the sassiest ads ever."

"President Obama says 'I wouldn't let my son play pro football.' That's weird. I wouldn't let my son add $7 trillion to the national debt," the ad states.

Pierson has drawn some support from a number of conservative stars, including Michelle Malkin, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Cruz's father, Rafael Cruz. Cruz reportedly called her "utterly fearless," though, unlike his father, he has not officially endorsed anyone in the race.

However, Sessions recently earned the valuable endorsement of the National Rifle Association. The NRA gives Sessions an "A+" rating on guns and recently gave him with the "Defender of Freedom Award."
