Music artist Nick Cannon ignited an Internet firestorm Monday after he posted several images online showing him wearing whiteface.
The photos, seemingly an attempt to promote his new album, "White People Party Music," hitting stores April 1, shows Cannon donning a new wardrobe with blonde hair. Video shows him speaking in an accent.
After posting the photos, many criticized the rapper over the move, calling it "racist" and "hypocritical."
