How Could She Say No? Guy Decides He Wants to Marry Girl After First Date, Spends the Next Four Years Filming This Proposal Video for Her

“I’ve been on many adventures."

"I'm going to marry this girl, eventually," Jack Hyde wrote in his travel journal.

That was on Sept. 30, 2010, after he had just finished a first date.

Over the next four years, Hyde "traveled the world," visiting more than two dozen countries. During the time they spent apart, Hyde started building a video for his girlfriend -- a proposal video. Now that's advanced planning.

The proposal came Saturday when Hyde showed Rebecca Strellnauer his "graduation slideshow" after their graduation from the University of Montana. Take a look at the "slideshow" and the reaction of Strellnauer's following it:

“I’ve been on many adventures. I’ve traveled on elephant, on camelback, hiked to the lowest point on the Earth and I’ve gotten to see some of the highest,” Hyde said, asking for her hand in marriage. “But the best adventure I’ve had is loving Becca.”
