Listen: Pop-Punk Band Probably Never Expected This Church to Sing Their Music

Did you know the Westboro Baptist Church could sing?

The aggressive religious group, known for protesting everything from soldiers' funerals to same-sex weddings, is planning to picket a Panic! at the Disco concert in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday.

The church released a parody of "I Write Sins Not Tragedies," the single that launched Panic! at the Disco's success back in 2005.

The parody, entitled "You Love Sin What A Tragedy," is a condemnation of gay marriage, rife with the gay slur the WBC is famous for using.

The chorus goes:

We chime in with a

Haven't you people ever heard of obeying the Word of God?

No, you all rebel against the King of Kings

With a sense of pride and immorality

The WBC seems to be roundly condemned every time the group pops up in national media, but serious opponents of the church have noted that the only way to "destroy" the WBC is to stop giving it media coverage.

The parody seems to be another successful grab for media attention by the WBC.
