"It's ridiculous."
As fans in Houston converged on the stadium where Jay-Z and Beyonce were performing Friday night, they got a rude surprise: parking lots were charging up to eight times their normal rates, KHOU-TV reported.

"It’s ridiculous,” said one woman shelling out $60 for a spot. “And we just paid $400 for the tickets.”
Lots that KHOU said normally charged $10 to $30 for parking jacked their rates up as high as $80 for the evening as Beyonce and Jay-Z's "On the Run" tour hit town.

“[Beyonce is] a hometown girl and she brings out a crowd," said one unfazed concert attendee, "so I was fully expecting [parking price gouging].”
