New York Vandal Is Delivering His ‘Learn to Park’ Message to Drivers in a ‘Very Upsetting’ & Illegal Way
July 24, 2014
“I know how hard it is to find spots in this neighborhood. So I would try to leave space if there was space."
A New York vandal has a message for drivers: learn how to properly park.
According to WCBS-TV, an unknown individual has spray painted messages on at least two vehicles this week, skewering the owners over the way their cars were left parked.
"Learn how to park s-bag," a spray-painted message said on one car.
The owner, who did not want to be identified in an interview with WCBS, said she discovered the vandalism when she woke up after parking her car Tuesday night.
“I know how hard it is to find spots in this neighborhood. So I would try to leave space if there was space,” the woman told the CBS affiliate. “So it’s like, very upsetting.”

Another vehicle, parked just two blocks away from hers, was also later targeted.
"Hey scumbag park right," the message said, even though a neighbor contested that the car was parked fine.
WCBS reported that a surveillance camera from a school nearby may have captured the suspect carrying spray paint.
Police are still trying to identify the suspect.
