28-Year-Old YouTube Star Stuns Parents With Gift That Left His Mom in Tears: ‘I Have a Surprise for You’

Timothy DeLaGhetto is used to his videos going viral, but this one holds extra value.

The 28-year-old YouTube star surprised his parents Monday with a check for them to pay off their home mortgage.

“I have a surprise for you,” DeLaGhetto told his parents in his latest video.

The 28-year-old then handed then a check for a reported $340,000, leaving his mother in tears.

“Thank you so much,” she said.

DeLaGhetto explained at the outset of his video that he works hard so that his parents, who own a small business, don’t have to. He added that he had told them in the past he would eventually make it in the entertainment business and pay off their home.

After acquiring nearly 2.5 million subscribers to his online channel and earning a gig on an MTV improvisation show, the young comedian was able to make good on his promise.
