Barbie has tried a lot of careers over the years — from babysitter to doctor to astronaut — and on Thursday it seems she tackled another job, albeit in a very unofficial capacity: drug smuggler.
Police in San Bernardino, California, discovered an estimated 10,000 pounds of marijuana in a tractor trailer, hidden in blank cardboard boxes behind a shipment of Barbie toys, KNBC-TV reported.
The weed, worth roughly $5 million, was discovered around 7 p.m. Thursday, according to police, stashed behind "Barbie Sisters Camper" play sets.
As KNBC reported, the seizure was part of an ongoing investigation, and while Barbie may be homegrown, police said the marijuana was probably grown outside the U.S.
No arrests were made, but police said they have a lead on suspects.
