What Kind of Wine Does Your State Prefer? Red or White? New Map Has the Answer

A new map created by the Washington Post that uses data from a major online wine retailer appears to reveal that Americans prefer red over white wine.
Using statistics from Naked Wine, the map shows that only Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa purchase more white wine than red.

"Purchases can be a bit seasonal, and in the summer we see an uptick in white wine sales, but there's still a very clear overall preference for red," Benoit Vialle, the COO of Naked Wines, told the Post.
