A Major Surprise Greeted These NFL Players at Their Bible Study Over the Weekend
November 10, 2014
"Rockin' for Jesus..."
When members of the Pittsburgh Steelers came together for a Bible study Saturday night in New York City, they ended up meeting a surprise guest: pop star Justin Bieber.
At least three players — backup quarterback Brad Gradkowski, linebacker Arthur Moats and defensive end Cam Heyward — tweeted about Bieber's presence at the Christian study, according to the Huffington Post.
See what they had to say below:
Just met @justinbieber at Steelers Bible study tonight! pic.twitter.com/AhRkDST77Z

— Bruce Gradkowski (@bgradkowski5) November 9, 2014Steelers' safety Robert Golden also Instagrammed a photo of himself with the pop star, writing, "In #NYC you can meet all the stars... Nice meeting you @justinbieber at chapel service today! Young Money Bieber rockin for Jesus!"

Sports Illustrated speculated that Bieber was staying at the same New York City hotel as the Steelers, who were in town to play the Jets on Sunday (the Jets ended up winning the game 20 to 13).
It's not entirely surprising that Bieber would attend Bible study, as he has repeatedly said publicly that he is a Christian.
