Marshawn Lynch showed up to Super Bowl Media Day on Tuesday with only one phrase in mind: "I'm just here so I won't get fined."
The Seattle Seahawks running back spouted the sentence in response to nearly every single question he received from assembled reporters — by Deadspin's count, 25 times.

"Hey I'm just here so I don't get fined," Lynch says at the beginning of his five-minute sit-down. "So ya'll can sit here and ask me all the questions ya'll want to, I'm gonna answer with the same answer so, ya'll can shoot if ya'll please."
Reporters ask about Lynch's relationship with the NFL.
"I'm just here so I won't get fined," he responds.
"Cat videos or dog videos?" a reporter queries.
"I'm just here so I won't get fined," he responds.
Lynch had reportedly been threatened with a $500,000 fine if he didn't show up to the media event Tuesday.
#NFL source says Marshawn Lynch treated with $500K fine if he failed to be available for Media Day. "I'm just here so I don't get fined."

Lynch's performance drew laughs from some, and condemnation from others.
Marshawn Lynch is a clown. I understand he doesn't want to talk to media, but it is part of the deal... even if he doesn't like it
