Police and prosecutors in Montgomery County's Lower Moreland Township said a juvenile reported finding the victims unresponsive "with lacerations from a chain saw" shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police issued a statement announcing the two deaths, adding "one of which is an apparent homicide." They have not commented on the other death and a township police spokesman said he had no further information.
Autopsies were scheduled Wednesday at the county coroner's office. The names of the deceased weren't being released pending notification of relatives.
