Whoa! The Moment a Former NASCAR Driver Runs Over Spectator During Race
June 08, 2015
Holy cow!
Details are scant, but the video is incredible.
Former NASCAR driver Robby Gordon took part in the SCORE Baja 500 in Ensenada, Mexico, last weekend. While battling with Apdaly Lopez, who went on to win the race, Gordon nailed a spectator head-on. From video of the incident, it appears Lopez actually veered into the crowd first and that the spectator was running to get out of the way. That's when he ran in front of Gordon's path, leading to the crash.

According to Fox Sports, the injured man sustained a broken leg. But no other details were available.
