Bill and Hillary Clinton are rumored to be paying $100,000 to rent a vacation home in the Hamptons later this month, the New York Post reported Thursday night.
The whopping $100,000 price tag is nearly double the median household income, according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau which puts it at $53,000.
Clinton's decision to rent the luxury home comes as she tries to portray herself as the best candidate to fight for the middle class.

The Democratic presidential candidate will spend two weeks at the four-bedroom home, the Post reported. It is being rented by a Republican art collector.
The Clintons, who are expected to arrive in the Hamptons by August 21, previously stayed at the same home for three weeks.
