UPDATE: Police have given the "ALL CLEAR" after the Kansas State University was briefly put on lockdown following a report of a possibly armed suspect.

The Kansas State University campus in Manhattan, Kansas, was on lockdown Friday morning as police were reportedly searching for a "possible armed subject."

The suspect was "described as a light-skinned black male wearing a dirty white shirt and shorts," KSNT-TV reported.
Just before the campus lockdown alert was sent out to students, armed robberies took place near campus, according to police.
