The two officers then noticed the flash of a gun muzzle on the passenger side of car driving directly toward them. Both officers fired their weapons. The officers later arrested the two suspects after they tried to run away on foot.
No one was injured and it wasn't immediately clear why the initial shot was fired.
A gun was found inside the vehicle the suspects were driving, a white Chevrolet Impala car. The vehicle was parked along the wrong side of the road when police found it about a half mile away from the site of the shooting, KHOU-TV reported.
