Things Got a Little Heated Between Players Before Florida State's Football Game Even Began
October 11, 2015
"That altercation really got the adrenaline going."
Things got heated Saturday night even before the football game between the Florida State Seminoles and the Miami Hurricanes started.
Florida State's kicker, Roberto Aguayo, was apparently warming up before the game on the wrong side of the field — something Hurricanes players didn't quite like. Aguayo exchanged some words with UM defensive back Rayshawn Jenkins before a few more Canes intervened. In footage of the incident, defensive back Ryan Mayes appears to push the kicker toward his side of the field.

Eventually coaches from both teams intervened before the altercation could escalate further.
In a press conference after the game, Aguayo said the situation was just a "big confusion."
"That altercation really got the adrenaline going," he said.
The Seminoles narrowly defeated the Hurricanes Saturday evening at home 29 to 24.
