See the Tense Moment Sheriff David Clarke Calls Out Juan Williams Over Police, Black Lives Matter
October 15, 2015
"Juan I don’t know what happened to you."
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke clashed with Juan Williams on “Hannity” Wednesday night over the Black Lives Matter movement and whether “excessive use of police force” is a serious problem in the U.S.
While Willaims conceded that Democratic candidates are “pandering” when they refuse to say “all lives matter,” he also said the Black Lives Matter movement has brought attention to “real issue of excessive use of police force in the country.”
“No there isn’t,” Clarke interrupted.
Williams then told his fellow panelists, made of up Clarke and Larry Elder, that they needed to become more “politically sophisticated.”
“Juan I don’t know what happened to you. You wrote a brilliant book several years ago entitled ‘Enough’ talking about these very same things. I don’t know what’s happened to you since then. You’ve gone back over to the other side.”
