Speaking with MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Friday, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings was asked, "What would you ask that the rest of this country do for Dallas right now? What do you guys need?"
Rawlings replied, "If you care about Dallas, if you care about your cities, watch your words — use your words carefully."
The mayor talked about using "good words" and being "steely eyed about the bad guys," adding, "Let's stop fighting amongst ourselves, and let's focus our energy on those who want to do us harm."
