"It shows you the depth of feeling."
Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer revealed during a Fox News segment Thursday what he found to be the "most astonishing line" of the entire Democratic National Convention.
"I found the most astonishing line of the entire convention was Obama's speech yesterday, where in one sentence he bracketed 'fascist,' 'communist,' 'jihadist' and what he called 'homegrown demagogues,'" Krauthammer told host Bret Baier, who was inside the convention hall at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Krauthammer noted that, while he is no fan of Republican nominee Donald Trump, he doesn't think the GOP standard-bearer should be compared with the likes of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin and Osama bin Laden.
The popular columnist then added, "It shows you the depth of feeling that Obama has, and a lot of Democrats have, about Trump. Part of it, perhaps personal, because of the birther issue, but I think because Trump represents the antithesis of what [Obama] does."
